Our History
Powering the future with our past
Olympia Renewable Energy is part of Olympia Capital Corporation which was established with the goal to invest in growth-oriented lower middle market companies, with enterprise values up to $100 million, specifically targeting those companies that are poised to benefit from market growth.
In January 2018, Olympia Renewable Platform LLC (“Olympia Renewable”) acquired six wind assets in the Texas/Oklahoma panhandle area. Olympia Renewable maintained and operated these assets until year-end 2021. In 2022, the company successfully sold 3 of the wind assets comprising 160MW to NextEra Energy.
Olympia Renewable is an active Market Participant in the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) market and maintains additional wind assets and the related Generation Interconnection Agreements to the SPP transmission grid.

Stephen Lee
President
Stephen is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive. Having held pivotal roles as the Former Managing Director at Mapleton Investments and Inova Capital, he currently serves as the President at Olympia Renewable Platform, overseeing a significant 240MW wind farm portfolio. With a background managing over $800 million in real estate portfolios at Solaris Investment Partners and serving as a Strategic Capital Advisor to Gulf Capital Partners, he stands as a distinguished figure in the financial and investment arena.
Brandon Rigney
C.T.O
Brandon is an accomplished C-suite technology executive with over a decade spearheading innovation withinn the digital infrastructure, high performance computing and energy sectors. He is an alumnus of Indiana University with a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Administration and Management. He has extensive experience in large-scale Data Centers, Energy Controls, Renewable Energy, and Blockchain operations.
Michael Cho
Board Member
Michael is a former corporate attorney with extensive experience in Mergers & Acquisitions having successfully initiated, negotiated, and completed numerous high value transactions including cross-border transactions. He has previously acted as Cheif Strategy Officer for Samsung HVAC. Michael is also currently Chief Investment Officer for an EV charging company Loop Global.
